The Domination of Eiler does not lay formal claim to all entities named "Eiler", any more than the United States of America laid formal claim to all continents named "America". In particular, the Domination leadership has relatives who share the name of "Eiler", but who do not fall under Domination jurisdiction any more than the rest of humanity does.
However, the Domination has a doctrine in place, similar to the United States of America's Monroe Doctrine. Under the Eiler Doctrine, the Domination of Eiler reserves the right to intervene in Eiler affairs, whenever it is likely to enlarge the Domination's sphere of influence.
- The Domination is typically pleased to exercise this right among the Dominator's siblings and their spawn, once every two or three years. However, the relatives prefer a schedule of three times a year, whenever they live close enough to the Dominator to get away with it.
- The intervention right is exercised among the Dominator's uncles, cousins, and other far-extended clan members, once every twenty years or so.
